I had a medical emergancy and used some of my student loan that is subsidized to pay for it… Could I get in trouble for doing this? Also, do you have to report your loan for taxes? I’m way stressed about all of this. Please serious answerrs only.

How many student loan places should I apply to?
By admin | January 12, 2012
I’ve already applied to Discover, Sallie Mae, PNC, and Wells Fargo. Is that enough places? I wanted to apply around to get the best deal but applying for a student loan takes hours and the deadline for payment is in two weeks. Is four enough or should I try more?

How do I apply for a federal student loan?
By admin | January 6, 2012
I applied through fafsa for a 2011-2012 pell grant. I want to get an additional small fed student loan. How do I apply for one? Iooked all over the fafsa site and there is no link to apply for a loan specifically. Does filling out the fafsa automatically apply for a student loan also?
Thanks

Grad student in Alabama needing a student loan to pay bills. How much can I borrow?
By admin | December 29, 2011
I live in SC, but will attend Auburn in Alabama. Probably I’ll get an assistantship which will give me an out of state waiver. I know that when you get a student loan, they allow you to borrow up to the full cost of tuition, right? Well, will I be able to borrow the out of state cost, so that I can use the extra to pay for personal bills?

How can I get a student loan if the school I want to attend isn’t listed on the lenders list?
By admin | November 25, 2011
I want to get a student loan for school but the school i want to attend isn’t listed on the bank’s drop down list. It says that the school has to certify the loan and to choose the name of your school. What can I do? Or wat other loans can I get that don’t require school certification?
